Session 1: Navigating the Struggles of Anxiety, Depression, and Self-Harm

Guest Speaker: Stephanie Zimmerman, LMFT
This is the first of several workshops we will be hosting throughout the semester. This particular presentation is geared towards parents of teens. In this first session, we will be discussing issues such as anxiety, depression, and self-harm. Stephanie will be talking about signs to watch for, healthy conversations that can start at home, and helpful treatments and coping strategies.
Stephanie Zimmerman is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and the owner of Zimmerman Marriage & Family Therapy, INC. which provides individual, couples and family therapy, working with children, adolescents and adults. Stephanie specializes in working with adolescents, attachment needs, sensory processing issues and is trained in EMDR therapy which is used to treat trauma. She is also a wife, mama of two and lover of travel, adventure, organizing and trying new foods.
