Dear Parents,
Thank you to all of you who helped with our Valentine’s Class Party. The children really look forward to this party. It was so special to have Landon’s baby brother, Mason, visit the classroom and to have the children pray over him.
The morning of the 14th, we walked the neighborhood and delivered our Valentine place mats to the neighbors. Many of the neighbors are waiting for us to ring their doorbells. We’ll do this again during our Easter party.
I hope you enjoyed your Transition Day visit to 3rd Grade. I’m sorry I was unable to attend but I was battling a cold .
This week we’ll be touring the Save Mart Grocery Store. You can ride the bus with us if you’d like. Also, on Friday, we’re having a special guest. I’ve invited George from Valley Children’s Hospital to come and visit every classroom. He’ll be coming with Mr. Clem, a former parent of mine and a nurse at the hospital.
Please continue working with your child on their story and speech. I’ll be doing my speech for the children in the near future.
Thank you too for all your giving to make our school auction a success in March. We’ve already surpassed our goal.
