September 9- ACT Test (late registration: Aug 5-18)
September 12- SCCCD Application Workshop (10am) @ Rm. 621
*students applying to local community colleges
September 13- Fresno Area College Night (6-8:30pm) @ Fresno Convention Center
September 13- Carroll College representative @ FCS courtyard during lunch
September 19- FCS College Fair (during lunch- 12:40-1:20pm) @ FCS courtyard
*seniors are not allowed to go off-campus for lunch this day
September 19- NACCAP College Fair (6-8pm) @ Hope Lutheran Church
*only Christian colleges represented
October 1- FAFSA application opens (www.fafsa.gov)
CSU application opens today
*You are responsible for completing the FAFSA, Mrs. Warkentin will be submitting the Cal Grant GPA Verification Form for you
October 2- FCS Parent/Student College Night Workshop (6:30-8pm) @ JJ Room (grades 7-12)
*An informative night about ALL things related to college planning, tests, financial aid, etc.
October 7- SAT Test (registration deadline: Sept 27)
*Many colleges consider this the last preferred date to take the test
October 16 (9am-12pm)- Fresno State Application Workshop #1 (@FCS)
October 16- Trinity Western University Rep in Civics classes (4th/5th periods)
October 17- SCCCD Email Activation (10am) @ Rm. 621
October 28- ACT Test (registration deadline: Sept 22)
*This is the last date to take the test for UC/CSUs (and many other colleges)
November 4- SAT Test (registration deadline: Oct 25)
November 1- UC application opens today
November 14 (9am-12pm)- Fresno State Application Workshop #2 (@FCS)
November 9-10 Fresno Pacific ‘Encounter’ (senior visit- 2 day event) (http://experiencefpu.com/the-encounter)
November 30- CSU and UC application deadline

December 1- Fresno City College Honors Program deadline
Requirement: 3.5 GPA or 1200 SAT or 24 ACT or top 25% in class

December 8- Fresno State Smittcamp Family Honors Program application deadline
Must meet at least one of the following:
Minimum 3.8 GPA or ranking in top 10 percent of graduating class or combined SAT score of 1200 or ACT average score of 27 in English and math
December 9- ACT Test (registration deadline: Nov 3)
December 11- SCCCD Online Orientation (10am) @ Rm. 621
