Why Fresno Christian?

Caring teachers and small classes ensure every student is known and supported. Our teachers are experienced, thoughtful, and deeply committed to student growth. Small class sizes (under 25 students in elementary and under 30 in middle and high school) allow teachers to understand each student’s needs, adjust their approach, and provide meaningful support. Parents often say to our teachers, “You really know my kid.”

At larger schools, students often have to choose one identity—athlete, musician, academic. At Fresno Christian, students are encouraged to explore all of their interests. Because our school allows students to build schedules that avoid overlap between sports, music, drama, journalism, and leadership activities, they can participate fully in multiple areas without compromise. As a result, students grow as well-rounded leaders equipped to balance commitments and lead across various contexts.

FCS is dual-accredited by WASC and ACSI and maintains a 98%+ college matriculation rate. Students receive millions in college scholarships annually and are accepted into top-tier universities across California and the United States. Our students graduate with the academic foundation, critical thinking skills, and Christ-centered confidence to thrive wherever they’re called.

Whether they’re mentoring a younger classmate, volunteering at a local nonprofit, or leading chapel, Fresno Christian students are challenged to show up for others in meaningful ways. By serving now, they’re learning how to lead with empathy, integrity, and purpose.

Education works best in partnership with families. With daily opportunities to connect at drop-off and pickup, regular communication, and shared values, parents are not just informed—they’re involved. Teachers know their students’ families, and families trust that their children are known, cared for, and challenged to grow. This partnership creates consistency, accountability, and a deeper sense of belonging for students and their families.

Every class is taught from a biblical worldview and every student is encouraged to live in light of their God-given identity and purpose. Bible classes, weekly chapel, student-led worship teams, and daily prayer are integrated into the school culture from kindergarten to 12th grade.

Our community needs Jesus. Our world desperately needs Jesus. And in order to [help the world know Him], we need to know who Jesus is. We need to be experiencing Him.

That’s what happens every day here [at Fresno Christian Schools].

[Our kids] are learning who He is.
They’re experiencing Him. They will be equipped as they go into adulthood to tell the world who He is.
